New ISSNs for JAMA Network Publications

The nine specialty journals in The JAMA Network, formerly known as Archives Journals, now have new names. The name changes, which are effective January 1, 2013, are part of the ongoing evolution to more closely interconnect the scientific journals published by the American Medical Association.

Two of the specialty journals have new names shortened: the Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine is now JAMA Pediatrics and the Archives of General Psychiatry is now known as JAMA Psychiatry. Other current titles are JAMA Dermatology (formerly Archives of Dermatology), JAMA Facial Plastic Surgery (formerly Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery), JAMA Internal Medicine (formerly Archives of Internal Medicine), JAMA Neurology (formerly Archives of Neurology), JAMA Ophthalmology (formerly Archives of Ophthalmology), JAMA Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery (formerly Archives of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery), and JAMA Surgery (formerly Archives of Surgery).
