To the Editor: I wholeheartedly support Dr Anderson's decision to order the removal of Dr Lundberg as editor of JAMA.1 It's about time that someone within the ivory-tower world of the AMA bureaucrats had the courage to take a stand against the constant politicizing of the medical profession, especially toward the left. All of my colleagues with whom I have spoken also feel that the ouster was justified. Most of the support of Lundberg seems to come from those in academe and among the politically attuned and not from us in direct patient care.
