In Reply: We agree with the points made by
Dr Propp and Dr Rosenstein. Medicine is in flux. At the same time patient
care and how it is delivered is increasingly influenced by economic forces.
Our hope is that physicians will contribute more to the current health policy
debate, as the outcomes will affect how we treat our patients.
