To the Editor: The article by Dr Salmon and colleagues1 touches on many of the elements of the debate surrounding health consequences of religious and philosophical exemptions from immunization. While not claiming to represent all who advocate individual informed choice in vaccination policy, I do hope to respond for a growing public who simply want answers to basic questions not addressed by the authors, such as:
