To the Editor: As nurse practitioner faculty leaders, the Board of Directors of the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties commends the important research reported by Dr Mundinger and colleagues.1 Our organization has worked hard to establish standards of quality in nurse practitioner education and is in the vanguard of organizations seeking to promote quality in primary care. We agree with Dr Sox2 that this is an excellent and well-executed study. However, we wish to reply to other comments in his Editorial.
