In Reply: In the 6-month trial we reported,
the extent of skin angiokeratomas was not among the outcome measures we evaluated.
It is unlikely that these lesions would regress, especially after a relatively
short period of treatment. It is nevertheless possible that enzyme replacement
therapy can prevent the appearance of new angiokeratojldmas. This hypothesis
could be tested in future studies.
