To the Editor: Dr Berland and colleagues1 evaluated Internet health information about breast cancer, depression, obesity, and childhood asthma. They caution that their research was not a natural experiment of using actual Internet consumers. We performed a study (unpublished) of patients with breast cancer during the same period, between October and December 2000. We asked 188 women with breast cancer to report the 5 Web sites they used most for breast health/women's health issues.
