In Reply: We agree with Dr McFee and colleagues that clinicians can play an important role in preventing dating violence that goes beyond screening. However, we recognize that asking questions about dating or domestic violence remains a major challenge. Barriers likely include lack of training and knowledge of how to respond to disclosure,1 as well as provision of confidentiality.2
