To the Editor: Unfortunately, for many of the physical examination tests that Dr Solomon and colleagues1 described, the original description is not referenced. Therefore, some of the descriptions are not as originally described (eg, McMurray2 never describes the test as a "popping"). In addition, the pivot shift was originally described by Galway and MacIntosh3 and therefore, this should be noted when discussing this maneuver.
