Armed Conflict Injuries to the Extremities provides the reader with a concise and important review of treatment of high-energy injuries that occur during armed conflict. In the foreword, Joseph Zuckerman states concisely and insightfully that “Alex Lerner and Michael Soudry have produced an outstanding textbook we all wish we did not need.” The book provides the reader with information, treatment options, and basic science, beginning with the urgent care and basic science considerations and continuing through to the treatment options for these complex injuries as well as for their inevitable sequelae.
