This is the third edition of a text written by well-renowned experts, clinicians, and researchers in the fields of nephrology, hypertension, and kidney transplantation. It is intended for physicians as well as other allied health professionals having particular interest in chronic kidney disease (CKD) and its confounding complications. The book is organized around the central topic of CKD and the available renal replacement therapies, ie, dialysis and kidney transplantation. Tables, algorithms, diagrams, and other illustrations throughout provide clinical, laboratory, as well as ancillary correlates for the different entities that fall under this scope.
