To the Editor: The article by Dr Holmes and colleagues1 appraised the evidence on the association between CYP2C19 genotype and clopidogrel response through a systematic review and meta-analysis. Their results showed that although there was an association between the CYP2C19 genotype and clopidogrel responsiveness, overall there was no significant association of genotype with cardiovascular events.
