To the Editor.—Those of us who have been
long-time members of the American Medical Association (AMA) and grassroots
practicing physicians attempting internal change within organized medicine
must take exception to the article "For Our Patients, Not for Profits."1 This article is an insult to the many physicians
across the country who are vigorously working to carry out reform.
