To the Editor.—Drs Zuger and Sharp1 discuss the need for AIDS to be reexamined as a primary care disease. The discussion may not simply be related to which branch of medicine deals with HIV, but more to which profession can contribute to the quality of life and management of HIV. The link between HIV and the provision of legal services represents an unusual growing area of legal work. Public health and factors of discrimination and disease prevention are linked.
