To the Editor:  —I was surprised to see an article in The Journal (August 1, p. 299) proposing the treatment of chorea by the induction of fever. This method of treatment was recommended by Dr. Tibor Kern, years ago (Wien. klin. Wchnschr.36:164 [March 1] 1923) with the injection of milk and is widely used in the clinics in Budapest with remarkable success.
