Abstract

ARMY 

New Commandant.—  Col. James T. McGibony, formerly director of the Plans, Supply, and Operations Directorate in the Office of the Surgeon General, Washington, D.C., has been assigned as commandant of the Medical Field Service School, Fort Sam Houston, Tex.

Research Appointee.—  Dr. Marion B. Sulzberger, well-known authority on research and teaching in dermatology and allergy, has accepted a position with the Army Medical Service as Technical Director of Research. He will serve as principal advisor to the surgeon general, and to the chief of the research and development command on all scientific and technical matters related to medical research and development.

Retirement Point Credits.—  Reserve officers of the Army Medical Service may earn 2 training and retirement point credits for attending the sessions on the first 2 days of the 33rd Annual Meeting of the Aerospace Medical Association at the Chalfonte-Haddon Hall, Atlantic City, N.J., April 9-12, 1962.
