Dr. Norman Van Wezel, director of the Montgomery Tuberculosis Sanatorium, addressed the Houston County Medical Society November 3 on "Treatment of Pulmonary Tuberculosis."—The Calhoun County Medical Society was addressed in Anniston November 2 by Drs. Groesbeck F. Walsh and Robert M. Pool, Fairfield, on "Twins and Twinning."
At a meeting of the Ninth Councilor District Medical Society in Harrison December 5 the speakers were Drs. Davis W. Goldstein, Fort Smith, on cancer; George V. Lewis, Little Rock, diagnosis and treatment of goiter; Merlin J. Kilbury, Little Rock, blood stream infection; John N. Compton, Little Rock, jaundice, and Charles T. Chamberlain, Fort Smith, pneumonia.
Copley Medal Awarded to Dr. Morgan.—
