A varied scientific program, designed as a postgraduate medical forum on basic problems faced by the practicing physician, will be presented at the 18th Clinical Convention of the American Medical Association Nov 29 through Dec 2 in Miami Beach, Fla.
Features of the program will be 14 scientific sessions on a wide variety of topics, 235 scientific exhibits, a day-long session on the medical aspects of sports, fireside conferences held in conjunction with the American College of Chest Physicians, six breakfast round-table sessions, and a special postgraduate course in Obstetrics for the General Practitioner.
Other highlights will be three special midday lectures delivered by prominent men in medicine, and color television and medical motion picture programs.
A day-long program on nuclear medicine has been scheduled for Monday, Nov 30, including symposiums on radioisotopes in diagnosis and on special radiographic diagnostic procedures.
