To the Editor:—
In the Question and Answer section of The Journal (179:309 [Jan. 27] 1962), a most interesting point was made by a questioner on weight training. "Some physicians are concerned about possible adverse effects on the health of these boys, especially on sudden cessation of these exercises at the completion of the football season." Disappointingly, the latter part of this was ignored except for the implication that the situation should not arise. Could the answer please be rectified?
