To the Editor: Dr Williams and colleagues1 reported an analysis of vein-graft harvesting in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery. They found a significant decrease in complications (adjusted hazard ratio, 0.83) when patients underwent endoscopic vein harvesting compared with patients who underwent open vein-graft harvesting. To be more conclusive, this analysis should have explored at least 2 more variables.
