The fourth edition of the Oxford Handbook of Emergency Medicine is proof that good things come in small packages. This latest release in the best-selling Oxford Medical Handbooks series is intended as a clinical resource for medical trainees and other health professionals working in the emergency department or other acute care setting. Prior editions have been touted as “indispensible” and “the best-selling handbook on emergency medicine,” leaving this edition with quite a reputation to live up to.
