In Reply: Florida's “Privacy of Firearm Owners” law intrudes upon the sanctity of patient-physician relationships. It threatens physicians' freedom to provide information to patients and undermines patients' trust in their physician's willingness to raise issues important to their health and safety. We applaud the efforts—outlined by Drs Mangat and Burke-Galloway—of the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence and physician organizations to repeal the law through judicial or legislative efforts. We applaud Judge Cooke's order granting a preliminary injunction barring enforcement of the law while litigation is pending.1
