In Reply: Dr Spence's comments support our Viewpoint. We agree that a 3-group randomized trial with medical treatment, angioplasty with stenting, and surgery as the options for treating renovascular hypertension is needed. It would be wise to include patients with fibromuscular dysplasia in such a trial as well because there is still uncertainty about the optimal treatment for that condition.1
