The Automobile Number of THE JOURNAL, March 7, 1908, we believe, will be an interesting issue. In response to the announcement in THE JOURNAL, in which we asked for experiences, we have received many communications—bright, thoughtful, analytical—which seem to present all the various phases of automobile experience. Many readers write us that they look forward to this issue with great anticipation, because our previous automobile number not only was interesting but proved of practical value to them in connection with their choice of a machine. There is room for a few more communications—the more terse and pointed the better—but they should be received within the next seven days. We can also use more illustrations. It is preferable that the illustrations show the machines in local surroundings and ready for the road, and it is most important that they may be clear and sharp.
