This CD-ROM contains the proceedings of the European Congress of the Internet in Medicine that convened October 14-17, 1996, in Brighton, England, (MEDNET 96). MEDNET 96 proceedings include 56 papers concerning digital medical libraries, electronic publishing in medicine, medical education, telemedicine, information policies and ethical issues, Internet security, access to health and medical information, and clinical applications on the World Wide Web (WWW).
