For a family practitioner, the promise on the package of this offering of "the most up-to-date, authoritative pharmacotherapy information available" seemed appealing, and this review was conducted with the office needs of a practicing physician primarily in mind. The CD-ROM loaded the program promptly in Windows 95 and presented the first screen, which displayed the four main components: Pharmacotherapy: A Pathophysiologic Approach , 3rd ed, Pharmacotherapy: A Patient Focused Approach , Instructor's Guide to the previous, and Handbook of Clinical Drug Data 1997-1998, 8th ed.
