There are more than 20 other journals from which to choose if you want information on complementary and alternative medicine. FACT provides a single format with which to stay abreast of the everchanging field of complementary medicine. It brings together a broad range of relevant information in one journal, saving the busy practitioner both time and expense.
FACT editors state that its aim and scope consist of presenting the "evidence of complementary medicine in an analytical and impartial manner" and dedication "to compiling, interpreting and disseminating the up-to-date evidence for or against complementary or alternative medicine." The Department of Complementary Medicine, University of Exeter, in the United Kingdom, produces the journal, and it has an editorial board with broad international representation. The journal also has its own web site: http://www.exeter.ac.uk/FACT/
