Ophthalmology CD-ROM is a single-CD version of Yanoff and Duker's text Ophthalmology (see accompanying review). It contains all 1616 pages from the textbook, 2500 full-color photographs and illustrations, and nearly 300 black-and-white images.
The software was tested on both a Pentium II 266MHz with 96 megabytes RAM and 24× CD-ROM drive and a Power Macintosh 7100/60166MHz with 32 megabytes RAM and 2× CD-ROM drive. Under both Windows 95/98 and Mac OS 7.5.5, installation was straightforward and flawless. Operations under both operating systems were essentially identical.
