Monthly, $US 38 in Latin America and the Caribbean, $68 in the United States, and Canada, $85 outside the Americas. Washington, DC, Pan American Health Organization, 1997—.
Revista Panamericana de Salud Pública/Pan American Journal of Public Health, a peer-reviewed monthly scientific and technical journal published by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), began publication in January of 1997. This new journal combines two existing publications, the quarterly Bulletin of the Pan American Health Organization and the monthly Spanish-language Boletín de la Oficina Sanitaria Panamericana. The new journal plans not only to bring a new name and new perspectives to its predecessors, but also to reflect better the needs of its audience and the multilingual reality of the Americas. This new journal has expanded its scope to include articles on human resources in public health and epidemiology in addition to technical articles on issues relevant to international public health.
