This third edition of The Traveller's Pocket Medical Guide and International Certificate of Vaccination contains a table of contents, 21 chapters, including a vaccination record, medical certificate form, three tables, and two boxes. There are no substantial illustrations, maps, bibliography, or index.
The target audience is overseas travelers. However, it would most usefully be provided to travelers by their travel health adviser, as an educational aid to the provision of travel health advice and to serve as a record for traveler's vaccinations. Clinicians and postgraduate students, especially those new to the area of travel medicine, will also find the guide useful reading in helping to build the scope and content of their health advice provided to travelers.
