How often do physicians reflect, "I would be so smart at medicine, if only they'd stop inventing new drugs!"? Not often enough.
It's an honor to review the tenth edition of this classic text. The eighth edition helped me learn pharmacology 10 years ago, and the ninth edition has helped me teach pharmacology in recent years. I have not had the time to read this text's 2000 pages for this review. Rather, for six weeks I kept it open on my desk and referred to it with every pharmacology question.
