In Reply: In response to Dr Cronholm and colleagues, we surveyed sexually active adolescent girls seeking sexual care services at family planning clinics rather than at primary care facilities because legislation has been directed at such clinics. We share their concern that primary care physicians may be unaware of state protections for confidential health care of adolescents, and we agree that future work should examine primary care facilities where most adolescent health care is provided.
