The long-awaited second edition of Drennan's The Child's Foot and Ankle is a beautiful, well-laid-out review of virtually everything a pediatric orthopedic surgeon would want to know about the foot and ankle in children. A 20-year wait has resulted in a contemporary edition wisely enhanced by new chapters and reshaped topics, such as the nonoperative treatment of congenital clubfoot with the Ponseti technique, metatarsus adductus, and metatarsus varus. The inclusion of the Ponseti technique is a welcome, needed addition, and the technique is copiously illustrated.
