This is a good book with a bad title. Publishing Your Medical Research Paper goes far beyond the mechanics of the publishing process. The book contains material commonly taught in the medical curriculum under critical appraisal or clinical epidemiology. It demonstrates the proper application of these principles of clinical research as well as guiding the new investigator through the mechanics of the publishing process. It is actually a guide to clinical research from conceptualization to submission. Parts are even useful for editors.
