To the Editor One of the important findings in the study by Dr Ogden and colleagues1 was that the prevalence of obesity in children aged 2 through 5 years has decreased during the past decade. This decrease may be due to the analytic decisions made by Ogden et al, including a lack of adjustment for multiple comparisons and the use of 2003-2004 data as the starting point, which had an unusually high obesity prevalence.
