Lucid language and extravagant illustrations perhaps best characterize the third edition of Rubin and Farber's Pathology. The book continues its tradition of being authoritative in an attractive form and educational in an entertaining fashion. Pathology has been considerably augmented and exhaustively updated but continues to aim at being an undergraduate text to be used by students throughout their medical school years and by physicians throughout their training years.
