Medical toxicology: the specialty in which the questions stay the same while the answers keep changing. Clinical Toxicology: a thorough collection of the current answers.
The single-volume Clinical Toxicology is well organized and indexed, has occasional black-and-white photographs and several gray-scale diagrams, and is appropriately referenced. The text is friendly and readable, cover to cover, for those with time to spare. For the rest of us, uniform section titles, numerous tables, and several flowcharts provide the highlights, so we can get back to patient care.
