The second edition of Topol's Textbook of Cardiovascular Medicine is divided between a 2210-page textbook and an accompanying CD-ROM. Of the 193 contributors, 39 are on staff at the Cleveland Clinic, the rest expert clinicians and scientists from around the world. As in the first edition, there are eight sections: "Preventive Cardiology," "Clinical Cardiology," "Cardiovascular Imaging," "Electrophysiology and Pacing," "Invasive Cardiology and Surgical Techniques," "Heart Failure and Transplantation," "Molecular Cardiology," and "Vascular Biology and Medicine."
