words of clinicians who participated in focus groups on the title subject.
The aim of the video, intended for use in group workshops or by inviduals,
is "to promote and foster discussions about . . . the demands that oncology
places on all of us in clinical practice, in particular the personal burdens."
Topics are: "Time Pressures," "Communication: Seeing the Person Through the
Patient," "Breaking Bad News," "The Angry Patient," "Hope and Expectations,"
"Sympathy, Empathy, and Personal Boundaries," "The Dying Patient and the Physician,"
and "How to Cope." CME credit and an hour of ethics credit are available.
