The 21st edition of Rudolph's Pediatrics is an excellent, comprehensive textbook, which offers much to medical students, residents, and clinicians caring for pediatric patients. Although it is a lengthy work, subjects are treated with a depth and breadth that this reviewer often finds lacking in abbreviated texts and Internet-based sources. The editors and authors, many of whom are recognized as leaders in their fields, are congratulated for a superb contribution to the library of pediatric references.
