Hospital is a photographic essay showing hospital life in Belgium, China, India, Congo, and the United States. Seasoned world photographer Stephen L. Feldman has graphically documented hospitals across nations as microcosms of sociocultural values. Essayist Karine Douplitzky, an analytical writer and contributor to French television, adds context and word pictures. Together, they have created a unique, attractive work. The book is 11 in × 11 in × ¾ in with blood-red cover. (See Figure 1)
