To the Editor: The article by Thompson et al1 provides information highlighting a common clinical
problem. The article's discussion on management did not explore any alternatives
to creatine kinase (CK) measurement. Are the authors aware of any data or,
in their clinical experience, have they found any other noninvasive testing,
such as measurement of serum aldolase level, that assists in managing cases
of statin-associated myopathy?
