A new planning guide is now available to help communities throughout
the United States put the necessary drug and vaccine resources in place to
prepare for a natural epidemic or bioterrorist attack. The guide, which was
developed by researchers at Weill Medical College of Cornell University and
New York-Presbyterian Hospital, in New York City, and funded by the Agency
for Healthcare Research and Quality, complements the Strategic National Stockpile
guidebook prepared by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
