Ethics and Research With Children: A Case-Based Approach offers an excellent opportunity for educators. The book is well written and engages the reader throughout. The chapters give comprehensive coverage to the major aspects of pediatric research ethics. With the policy of the National Institutes of Health that all government-supported research must include children unless there are ethical or scientific reasons not to do so,1 the topic of appropriate use of minors in scientific inquiry has come to the forefront of research ethics.
