Closer to an Effective Ebola Vaccine

Two investigational recombinant DNA vaccines, one directed against the Ebola virus and the other against the Marburg virus, have been shown to be well-tolerated and immunogenic in an African study population whether given separately or together, according to a report from researchers in Uganda and the United States (Kibuuka H et al. Lancet. doi:10.1016/S0140-6736(14)62445-4 [published online December 22, 2014]).
