Abstract

This manual continues to improve with each edition. Much has been added to the chapters on bacteriology and the work on protozoa has been completely revised. The chapter on immunity contains good discussions concerning the preparation of vaccines, agglutination tests, Wassermann reactions and anaphylaxis. A new chapter has been added on disinfeetants and insecticides which gives particular application to methods of carrying out these important health procedures.
