Report Outlines Steps to Address Antibiotic Resistance

The second report from the United Kingdom’s Review on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), “Tackling a global health crisis: initial steps,” which was issued in February, notes that chronic underinvestments in financial and human capital are major impediments to progress being made in this field and outlines 5 steps that should be taken to combat the rise in infections caused by drug-resistant pathogens (http://amr-review.org/).
