—Dr. John C. Davis, Harrisburg, has been appointed health officer of Poinsett County succeeding Dr. Robert E. Yarbraugh, deceased.—Dr. Oliver H. Tatum has been appointed city health officer of Arkadelphia, succeeding Dr. William T. Rowland, resigned.
New Officers for State Board of Health.
—At the annual meeting of the Arkansas State Board of Health, March 25, Dr. Cyrus F. Crosby, Heber Springs, was elected president and Dr. Fergus O. Mahony, Eldorado, vice president, each for a term of one year, and Dr. Charles W. Garrison, Little Rock, was reelected secretary and state health officer for a term of four years.
