While the title of this book is radiology of the gastrointestinal tract, fluoroscopy is really meant. It is a record of the author's experience in about 6,000 cases. While its candor, simplicity and unpretentious form are stimulating, it cannot replace more ambitious efforts. Eighty drawings from tracings enhance the value of the work. Many, however, will take exception to the statements that, as regards diagnosis, fluoroscopy is the whole of radiology.
