—Dr. W. G. Thompson writes that the announcement made in a recent issue of The Journal under the heading "Expansion of Academy of Medicine" should be corrected to read as follows: "The Rockefeller Foundation has not contributed $1,000,000 for the new building, but has given approximately that sum toward maintenance of the academy and expansion of its educational work. The Carnegie Corporation has contributed the cost of the new building to the extent of $1,000,000. Thus the academy of medicine furnishes the land, the Carnegie Corporation the building, and the Rockefeller Foundation the endowment.
